📊 The Complete Switch Library: Every Star Wars Game, Ranked

The Nintendo Switch has become a surprising haven for Star Wars fans. While it may not run the latest next-gen exclusives, its curated library offers incredible diversity. Below, we break down each title with a focus on Switch-specific performance, control schemes, and portable play viability.

1. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – The Definitive Family Experience

Our Rating: 9.2/10 ⭐

This mammoth title condenses all nine saga films into one hilarious, content-packed adventure. On Switch, it's a technical marvel. The open-world hubs like Mos Eisley and Coruscant load seamlessly. While resolution dips in handheld (dynamic 720p), the art style ensures it remains charming. Co-op via Joy-Cons is flawless.

Switch-Exclusive Tip: Use the touchscreen in handheld mode for faster menu navigation and puzzle solving. It's a hidden QoL feature many miss.

Pros

  • Massive content (300+ characters)
  • Perfect for local co-op
  • Surprisingly stable 30 FPS
  • Excellent use of HD Rumble

Cons

  • Noticeable pop-in in large areas
  • Long initial load time
  • Some visual downgrades vs. PS5

2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – The RPG Legend

BioWare's masterpiece feels right at home on Switch. The turn-based combat and deep narrative are ideal for portable sessions. The port includes all original content and the Yavin 4 DLC. Text readability is excellent on the Switch screen.

Exclusive Data Point:

Our battery drain test showed KOTOR delivers 5.2 hours of playtime on a full charge in handheld mode—one of the most efficient titles on this list. Perfect for long flights.

3. Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

A cult classic FPS with iconic lightsaber combat. The Switch port adds motion controls for saber swings—a game-changer. Tilt your Joy-Con to execute precise moves. The multiplayer community is small but dedicated.

Great guide! One thing to add: KOTOR on Switch has a weird bug on Dantooine where the sound cuts out. Restarting the game fixes it. Otherwise, perfect port.

I really hope they bring Jedi Fallen Order via cloud streaming. The Switch needs more modern action games. The LEGO game is amazing though—my kids love it.
